Morning Brief- 11/8/21

Earnings season is in full force this week, as more and more companies are set to release their Q3 numbers. Some big names are set to release like Disney #DIS, and of course Coinbase #COIN. Coinbase is a huge favorite of ARK manager Cathie Wood, but lately her picks have been really getting hammered. #COIN could see a spike, due to increased crypto prices and volume, however; the competition for Coinbase keeps expanding, as more and more payment systems add crypto to their services. This could lead to a loss of marketshare for COIN , and as I think the stock is currently over valued, a pull back seems more like to me.

My eyes will still be on #NFLX, #MRNA , #TSLA , #DASH, #AFRM. These seem to be the stocks that have the biggest day to day movements (that are not MEME stocks). As an options trading, big volume and big daily swings is where you want to be. However, you have to be careful if all you are doing is trading theta. I think credit spreads are the way to go for TSLA and AFRM. We will see if MRNA will recover some after taking back to back days of a 20% downward move. There is some opportunity here to catch an upswing, and a bull call spread could be a decent play as long as you fully cover the long call premium .

  • Paylpal and AMC are the ones to really watch. AMC is a meme stock so could be a big swing

  • Eyes on Wynn and Coinbase here.
